Hey guys, Just turbod my b16, comp = p28 chipped w/ hondata s200. The guys who made my dpipe didnt transfer the o2 sensor . is it neccessary? Sometimes.. like 1 out of 5 drives the #1 code is thrown indicating theres a problem with the primary sensor.. well duh its not there.. but its only on sometimes? Also, I had the 2ndary (cat) sensor in but it was disconnected from the harness. But this wasnt throwing any codes either?
I plugged the 2nd one back in and car ran a little smoother. I am still untuned and am trying to get tuned but i know no one in their right mind would tune a car with cel's coming on sometimes..

 

i have my o2 sensor disabled (and not plugged in), and i usually get a cel after a long decel....never really took the time to understand why.

i dont know hondata, but you shouldnt need the primary o2 sensor....
you may want to install it if its a daily driver and disable the o2 in boost (if possible with hondata)...otherwise it will just run off the maps at all times with no o2 trim.

just my thoughts, someone speak up if im wrong...
