yo whats up i went to the track friday in my eg hatch it is a stock y7 with a 14b turbo on 10psi my 1st was a 13.1 then the next 2 where 13.0 then my last to passes was a 12.94 and a 12.90 at 107 mph

Doesn't look like a Y7 intake manifold to me. Also, I've never in my life seen a SOHC turbo - VTEC or otherwise - hit better than a high 13 at 10 pounds of boost.

And you don't have a timeslip: you have numbers typed out which is no better than hearsay.

Its hard to even believe timeslips anymore. It doesn't really prove anything. Video is the only proof really...

 

well it is a y7 motor with z6 mani and yes it is 10psi on bfg D.R.

The OP broke out. (dialed in for 13.00 but ran faster than his dial time)

 

it was bracket racing and i went faster then my time bc i said 13.0 and i ran a 12.9 wtf

i was there... i can vouch for the car. i believe he has video of the pass(not 100% sure), so if there are still "doubters" - im sure he can upload the vid.

this car runs extremely well for what it is

 

i was mad as hell it was a auto and i was in the top 10 people out of about 50 people.........my frist run i ran 13.0 then the 2 round i went 12.94 and i was happy as hell then my pap was like you goin to change your time and i was like i dont think i will hit 12's again bc i had like the best run of my life and then i hit the 12.9 and lost to a 17 something

 

If that really is just a Y7 at 10 pounds on a 14B, that's ******* insane. Goddamn

 

hard to believe, but congrats, i see stock sohc turbos run down the track all the time barely break into the 14s, but good job you must be one hell of a driver

well thanks but the car was runnin great that night and the temp and track conditions where just right and i must say that was my best drivin so far

 

i hope you can pull if again when it will pull you a win!

 

my other 12.94 i won so its all good i just wanted to hit a low 13 with my stock sohc and when the 12.9 i was like the happiest guy alive

you are right. i was gonna post up my dyno chart and timeslips for my car but i was like theres a lot of haters on here so i went ahead and posted up a video. so you should just post up a video and the timeslip to go with it would be nice

well im goin to the track soon so i will just take an extra tape bc i only got my first pass on it and that was a 13.1 bc my buddy was tapein all the cars and my tape ran out and i was mad as hell so i got a 13.1 but if i go to the track again i will make sure to get a 12.9 or lower for the haters
