I'd say return them. It doesn't snow in Florida, does it? If it doesn't (I'm ignant =p), then why not pick up some summer tires?
The sidewalls on these tires are CRAP. My sister's stock set of Michelin's have firmer sidewalls than these tires. Turn in is not crisp at all. It feels like you're driving on a set of balloons. They were inflated to 35f/33r.
But, they do offer a decent ride if you're not planning on driving them aggressively. They're relatively quiet. I've had mine for about 15k, and I imagine that they could go well past 35k.

Yes, they're crappy all-season tires. And if you live in Florida, you don't need all-season tires in the first place.
If you want a good tire without spending an arm and a leg, get the Kumho Ecsta SPT. Very good performance, and the price is a bargain, even before taking the $40 rebate into account.
