For our show car we ordered a clarion touch screen, flip out unit to work with the clarion 15.3" flipdown monitor for the back seats because the original panasonic was not compatiable. our guy that does our installs on this stuff says it's not possible because the unit in the front does not have imputs, is there any way around this? we would hate to have to order a 3rd unit just to get the monitor to work. plz help us out

 

what model clarion in dash do you have? most in dash units have one a/v input.

 

not sure what model number it is but it does not have an av output... i mean, even so, how do these show cars have all these monitors and one av unit?

 

so the unit does not have any video input or output? strange, is the unit an older model, i was looking on clarion's website and the in dash and double din units have a rca video output. i'm sure the flip down monitor has an a/v input.

 

no infact its an 05 or 06 model and it does not, however the flip down does but they need to be connected not ran separate

thats the one, we havent even taken it out of the box yet, i guess it will work!! my guy that does install thinks he knows everything so i'll have to prove him wrong! thanks alot for the info. problem solved!
