when it comes to xs power(also ss autochrome...same company) a majority of their products are suspect...don't know about their wastegates specifically, but in general their turbos blow the seals fairly quick(even with a restrictor) say within the first year and often SSAC/XS power will try to claim it's not covered under warranty. Also thier manifolds are infamous for blowing welds, cracking anywhere and everywhere. In general I would advise against this company.

I also have a new tial 38mm but i have upgraded my turbo from a t04E .70 ar with a 60 trim wheel. hotside p trim with .63 ar. I am now installing a holset hx40w with machined garrett .63 ar housing. I have plans to rev this motor to 9200RPM and research has shown that the 38mm will not regulate boost properly at this RPM . I really wanted the tial 46mm but i got the xs power free from a friend so I figured why not try it. by the way my motor is a B18C with a type R head, Toda spec B cams. I am running crome. I live in Jamaica so every thing I need I have to get it from the U.S.A. My previous set up I ran 11.8 @119 on 12PSi the car is a 96 civic hatch, trunk was taken off and the doors were gutted. one seat . I am running MT 24.5\8\15 slicks. So (pgmatt) have you tried the xs power wastegate on anything like my set up
