Default Little more D-series power for CHEAP? Help out

I've got a 91 hatch, 265K, rebuilt at 183K, DPFI, no bore or anything like that, no smoke, all stock.

I just got my A/C fixed and so for the first time since I bought it four years ago...I know what A/C feels like, and it is good. However, the poor little D15B2 lags SO much in power as it is...but when the A/C is on, I usually end up turning it off when trying to make it up any hill and it sucks my gas probably about DOUBLE than when it's off.

So my question is this..I'm a college student, so I'm broke as ****, but I'm looking to find a way that I can pull more power out of that engine. I know I can find some parts on a budget, and I'm willing to look if you can throw down some ideas, but this seriously sucks! The gas mileage I'm not as concerned about as I am the lack of power my car now has...

I'm also will (if anyone has one for UBER cheap) pick up like a d16 or LS or something, but I'll have to spend time finding cheap-*** (or donor) parts to do the swap to the EF...

Thanks for helping me.

To outline:
Can I pull more power from this?
How?
Can I get better gas mileage with A/C on?
How?
Anyone got any donor parts?

I just hate to spend alot of money on this car when my prized possession is in the garage being built (projected 200 NA WHP LSVTEC CRx) so that I can retire this car to autox and road race...

Thanks again!

yup dx b2 engines only have about 95 hp, theres not much you can do with the a/c on, let alone in any car with low hp ranges. To help maybe SRI, Lighter pulley, dpfi to mpfi.

SRI?

Pulleys = $$...

As for DPFI => MPFI, how much does that actually help in the area of power? I've heard it talked about alot and thought about it, but never did too much research because I was looking forward to the beast engine. How much difference does this thing make?

I almost half wish it needed a rebuild because I could shave the head down more...

d15b2 dpfi 1.5l 92hp

d16a6 mpfi 1.6l 108hp

the d16a6 has a better cam, intake manifold, mpfi of course, and a tiny bit more displacement, so these things all contribute to more power.

you could use premium gasoline too

Lets not forget the shitty engine that came with my car: D15B1: 70 hp.
