I dont want to ruin the plastic, what should i use?

Very fine sand paper, then some sort of plastic polish...There's an Integra page that explains how to remove various layers off of headlights, so I'm assuming you could apply the same principal to removing a layer of paint. It's called Gen2IC or something...I'm sorry I cant remember the name of their site...When you find it, go under the lighting section...

 

lacquer thinner and some rag. oh yeah don't forget to wear gloves too.

 

gumcutter man , quick wipes tills its gone , then wash with soap and wax for a nice shine

 

try the stuff called Graphiti Remover it takes paint of ANYTHING with out harming it....its awesome!!!

 

i actually used oven cleaner on my tails to get testors spray tint off. worked pretty good, just have to let it sit on there for a while. and wear gloves.
