Default Turbo B16a - What turbo to meet my goals?

Hey guys Im getting ready to turbo my b16. Im planning on running just a stock b16, with a spooling performance log, 3" DP, and 3" exhuast. As for turbo selection though, I am a little bit confused. I want something that builds boost around 4k, and am looking for a power goal of 250whp+ for now on the stock motor. I will also be building another b16 however, that is going to have GSR cams, Forged 9.1 compression pistons, and eagle rods. I will be shooting for around 350whp. I Would prefer to keep my turbo setup the same between both motors. I was considering a SC61 but was unsure of the a/r to get? Or maybe something like this- http://www.turboelements.com/i...tId=8

Ive seen some sc61 dynographs and they look awsome. Can anyone recomend a turbo for me that will do good with both of my setups. I do not plan on ever going past 350whp, as at that point i will upgrade to a different car.

A t-3/to4e will suit your goals just fine.

wasnt a stock b16, was actually a sleeved - internaled b16, no graph, because it wasnt clean, because of the clutch.

yea at this point i cant justify spending that much for a turbo... id love a garret gt series- I am getting a different manifold now however, a local guy who builds manifolds for DSM's is going to fab me one up

60ar on the cold side. .63 on the hot for a .57 To4E.

An SC61 is overkill for what you are wanting to make and is fairly laggy on a 1.6 liter motor so if I were you, I would stick with the To4e

SC50? Good to 450hp but spool is pretty damn good on my D16.

Jeff Evans is pretty close to you and is a great tuner. I street tuned my own car using Hondata S300, no dyno yet as I'm waiting for a shop in Buffalo to get their new dyno in. Once they have it, I will be dyno tuning my car there myself.

played lol, they just started pushing the other turbos because everyone had a t3t4 and a new bandwagon is needed

I have a built b16a 9:1 on a t3t4 57 trim 63a/r and I am very happy with the powerband, i dont have a dyno graph yet but i can asure you, you will be happy

gt30r is the turbo to go with for sure.
