Different rims...
Hey everyone - New here.. first post.. anyway here's a pic of my hatch i just picked up for pretty cheap.. So far it already had intake and...well that's it.

My question is what is a good, affordable wheel/tire combo i could pick up? Any color but chrome! Used is also okay. Thanks

uhm, well, do you have a strong engine to backup the looks and sound? cause otherwise those aren't so bad.
actually, get some 5 spoke alloys

yah the Slips are nice or even the Buddy Club P1s' and they're not that much either. i would probably get some springs first or some coilover sleeves and lower it some becouse IMO aftermarket wheels/tires lo0k wack with stock height
you should first get a set of good coilovers and all the goodie suspension parts. handling>looks. then after that, you can go for new set of wheels. rotas are good wheels to start out with if you're not looking into spending much money. get 15"s or 16"s. anything bigger... it'll look retarded. IMO. and for tire sizes, go for 205/50/15.

i'd say get some rota slips,si's, gsr's, or volks CE's/konig heluims...gt3's wouldn't look so bad either....tire wise...go with yoko avs es100's...i've had them for the past 4 weeks...love them...205/50/15's...o and stick with 15 inch rims....side note...i would start off with a good suspension first...work from the bottom up...but working with the rims/tires first isn't a bad idea...just make sure to do the suspension right after wards....

but i would prefer HX rims. they are light and they look good

Must be the time of the year when the sophmores in highschool are picking up there cars, sad to think of the others that didn't find this site by searching google. Soon they will be washed up in the ricer fad, find this site, and then get flamed.

actually this is my third car - first one ('79 accord hatch) i was drifting around a dirt/gravel turn and broke a front axle and decided not to replace it. Then i picked myself up a '89 dodge dakota and lifted it along with 35" mud's. Got water into the engine going through a mud pit and blew that up - THEN didn't have a car for 5 months, and i finally had enough to buy this... And i'm a senior in HS...
I'm really new to the scene and have no idea what you just said... LINK lol.. I've been browsing around trying to learn as much as i can.. i'm getting there..
