Default Searched: CEL after fuel pump upgrade

Hi Gurus,

Quick question. Running an LS/Vtec turbo setup in my '90 integra. Convereted to OBD1. I won't bother listing off all the specs but here is my recent problem.

Car was running fine at 5psi. Tuner said to get up to my goal of 300+whp I need to upgrade my fuel pump. Took out the old pump (screen was nasty) and put in the walbro 255lph fuel pump.

Now I'm getting random check engine light flickers. It doesn't flash like a normal one would to show code (short flicks, long flicks) but does completely random flashes before going out again.. comming back on thirty mins later etc. Tried turning car off and then on again but light would still come on randomely and in no flash sequences that would co-incide with a code.

Anyone had this before? I'm wondering if maybe the upgraded fuel pump is somehow delivering more fuel than the system knows what to do with/recognizes and it tries to throw a code but then the system catches itself and corrects it?

I'm at a loss. Help?

Tuned on chrome by a well recognized tuner/shop. If it helps B&M FPR. 630cc Injectors, upgrade fuel rail.
