Default Installing Stereo in our EF....Kit Available?

Installing a stereo in my 91 Hatchie, I notice I cannot find a kit to install a DIN chassy stereo for our car. I have looked in Crutchfield and other stereo places online and there is no kit. How did you guys do a clean install and what kind of kit did you use to install the stereo? Any pics is appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

they dont require a kit. ive never used one. you can use the thing the stock stero slides into and the little trim ring around the new deck will cover the exposed ugly crap

mine went in with just the little metal cage that the cd player slides into and the plastic trim goes around that and it looks good all i had to buy was the harness from best buy

I am probably missing the stock stereo trim. I wonder if I can purchase this from honda. Thanks for the input.

yes, you can buy it from Honda. The only thing you need is just the wiring which is sold at Best Buy or similar store.

ya get the wiring harness adapter, dont hack off the stock plug.

the mounting is using stock parts with what the stereo came with (mounting cage).
