Whats up all..

Basically I put in an aem short ram in my 06 base and kind of did a ghetto installation myself so everytime the car turns off it makes like this little puff sound (lmao can't describe it any other way). Anyway my question to all of you is...if I get a new CAI and get it professionally done is it worth the money? Is there at least a slight difference between CAI and short ram? Let me know..also if you know a good CAI I'd love to hear suggestions on which to get.

there is only one way to install an intake, professional or "ghetto" it is the same thing. as long as you tightened the couplers down and all the hoses are hooked up, it's fine. i never had a sri so i cant say for sure, but im willing to bet that the sound is normal. with a cai, when you turn the car off it makes a whoosh sound

 

That woosh sound is normal.

Its the vacuum that make this noisie sound normal on rsx base mine make that noise too !!!
