Well the same day I noticed my driver side axle boot had a slight tear in it on the hub end. I guess my question is, is this what is causing the clicking noise, yes i did search I dont currently have money to fix the problem at this point is it okay to drive like this if this is what is causing the clicking noise?

 

yeah the boot ran out of grease so the joints are runing dry when you turn it causes it to click they only thing its gonna do is the day less expected its gonna break and you are gonna struggle its a $35 dollar repair.

 

35 bucks for a new boot? anyway i can buy the boot and do it my self? I have a b16 thats why im worried about it i know its a hassle to get the right axles for a b16

 

Dont worry about it to to much..ive been driving around ona axle with no grease in the boot for over a year and a half now..does it need to be fixed? yea eventualy but..if you liek to wait to the last minute like me...lol no stress

 

does the clicking eventually stop?
