Car? Year? Model? Trim? Engine? Mods?

(Just the things you need to give if you want help).

Most likely the reason is b/c the AC puts extra strain on the motor and if you have a smaller motor X strain is a lot more than if you had a larger motor. You notice it easily - especially on hills.

I'm turbo and I get mad lag as well. It's just soimething you have to live with when running a motor with crappy low end.

running the A/C compressor requires a lot of energy, and that energy needed is provided by the motor at the expense of performance. My SiR feels slow as **** when its on too, dont worry.

Its been my experience that with anything less than 6 cylinders a/c will cause your car to run sluggish

yeah all cars do that. even the cars with good low end power loose power when a/c is turned on its normal.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by eeleaj &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yeah all cars do that. even the cars with good low end power loose power when a/c is turned on its normal. </TD></TR></TABLE>

But it won't be as noticable as a car with roughly 110whp and 90ft/lbs
