Default gooing first time to the strip.... and tips for a noob? (need wheel size reccomandations)

aright guys.... in a few days ill be going to the drag strip for the first time (its actually the first drag race in Israel),

the car is a 1997 hatch.
d14a4 engine (don't laught)
t3 .42 .48
2" down pipe with stock exhaust
13" stock steelies with crappy tires.

i was thinking about removing the whole exhaust and just keep the downpipe on for this day..... what do you think?

and now about the wheels.
now i got some 13" steelies and crappy 2 years old tires....
what size would you recommend me to get for the front? (car is pushing about 160-170 hp, way faster then a civic's with b16's.)

now I'm gonna strip what i can and tight my rear drums

thanks

smaller wheel diamater is better for power , but for traction you want the widest posible tire. for me what I have found is 22psi works best for me. start at 30psi and work your way down in 2psi incroments untill your 60' stays lower.
