Default Autocross class?

I try look to see what class my car would fall in but I am not sour which class.
Mods:
Integra GSR
Turbo
D2 coilovers
Gutted Interor
ITR Sway bars
Rear lower and upper tie
DOT BFG drag radials

car is legally registered

I am thinking I an going to be in one of these
A) Prepared (P)
B) Street Modified (SM)

I am thinking B becuase

"Street Modified (SM)

Street Modified is a new category for streetable cars modified beyond Street Prepared allowances. The rules are simple, and almost anything goes. Cars must be legally registered for the street"

Is this correct?

If I recall correctly, the only gutting of the interior allowed in SM is removal of the back seats. Going further would put you in Prepared or maybe Modified. Not sure the exact differences.

For the details, go here: http://www.scca.com/_FileLibra...s.pdf

If the interior is complety gutted you cant run it in SM you would have to go to MOD. Prepared you cant run an aftermarket turbo so you cant go there. SM you can strip the interior from the back of the front seats back so if you can put back in the front interior you would be OK.

Also Drag radilas may not be the best Autocross tire out there. very soft sidewalls.

Looks like E Mod to me. I wouldn't worry about the class so much, just go out and have fun...you just need seat time your first year anyway.

Well this would be my first event ever. This is my 13s drag car. My interoir is gutted. I do have 205-40-16 predra2(spelling) tires or 205-50-15 falcons anze(spelling) tires.

I just want to try this out because I hard it is alot of fun, and it is really cheap.

So SM I can run as long as I have two front seat and carpet?

In one of the clubs near me, if you don't know what class you should be in, they put you in A-Mod. If this is your first event, it really doesn't matter what class you're in, just go out and have fun.

Also, your regular street tires will be better for first time autocrossing than drag radials.

Fixed it for ya.

Azenis are some of the best dry-weather auto-x street tires you can buy, and you have a good size for them too. Definitely use those instead of drag radials. Have fun!

Blue masking tape is fine as long as they are contrasting in color. And again...have fun.
