well on teh way back from my drawing studio last nite, im on the bike just driving as usual. temps are fine etc... then when i was sittin at a light, i smelled a bit of coolant. so when i get back to my apt, i go to get my cover to cover it up for the nite and thats when i see coolant all over the side of the faring. im start thinkin ohhhhh ****. i look underneath, i can see it dripping but becuase it was 1130 i couldnt quite see where it was coming from. its all over the back tire, right fairing side, and is collectin at the point where the 2 side fairings connect. i cant wait to rip it apart when i get off class.....lame


now i gotta pay $1 an hour for parkin for the teg, its free for the bike. DOH!@

 

ok, removed the side fairings and there was coolant all over the upper rad hose. so i cleaned it off, topped it off and let it run in the parkin lot for a good while. it got hot enough all the way to where the fan kicks on. no leaking. so i took her for a quick spin around town and back. parked it and let it idle....still no leaking. so........ummmmmmm.....i dunno what happened. everything else was dry as a bone except for the upper rad hose. the only thing i can see that maybe happend is whoever put the hose on last tightened the clamp a bit too low on the connector, so i will re adjust that so it fits better. but other than that, i have no idea what happend and i hope it wont do it again.

ok i think i found the problem now...the upper rad hose is startin to leak. its leaking on the actual seams, like if you were to look at a cross section of it, its leaking on right in the middle of the lip, if that makes any sense. so i guess its time for a new one. cant wait to see how much honda wants for one
