Default pretty angry

About 3 weeks ago I baught a new set of pilot power tires. I absoulty love em. Well today I was riding on the highway for about 15minutes, I get off at my exit and as I am on the exit ramp I notice my handling was acting funny. So at the end of the exit ramp I sat at a light for a minute or 2. As I go make the turn the bike pretty much has no handling, I figured something was wrong with the front wheel/tire. Well my house is only about 2 miles away. So I get the bike home and the tire is completely flat by this point. Just lookin over the tire i notice theres a small chunk missing from it. Im guess it snagged or ran over something while getting off the highway. Well neway I need a new tire and I wont hgave my bike for at least a week or 2. So that is why im angry. Sorry just had to rant

That's shitty! Picture of the tire?

Do you remember running over anything big? Because I can't imagine like a nail taking out a huge chunk of a tire.

Be glad!, be glad it didn't result catastrophically.
But good luck with the cravings.

Thats the strange thing, I dont remember running over anything. You would think I would of noticed it.

But yes I am glad I didnt wreck, if it happened while I was going around a turn or full speed on the highway it could of ended badly.

damn two weeks? Is that because you have to order a tire or because of a shop?
Do you have any cyclegear's in your area?

I gotta order a tire. So about a week for it to come in, then prolly a day or 2 to get time to get the wheel off, then however long it takes the shop to have time to put it on. sucks.

at least its been raining all day, so i dont feel to bad

Heh...I had about 1500 miles on the tires and the bike (my rc51) when I got a flat in the rear. 190's are friggin expensive.

thats really teh trade of with race tires on the street, they attract every rock, nail, wire that you come across. A harder longer lasting tire may have just run over the debris

I've installed brand new tires and went up to palomar, then on the way back home caught a nail in the front near the side so I had to trash it.
