apexi N1 no silencer.
hey forum,
i have a 04 types with k and n replacement air filter, dc header and a cat back apexi n1 exhaust since i installed the exhaust i've been runnign it with out the silencer. but some one brought up the subject of creating piston damage due to not having enough back pressure to my attention. i cant find my silencer now since its been like 6 months but i thought i ask if that is true since i dont have much done to my baby id hate to be damaging her. thanks for any help !

there is no such thing. people on anoda forum and myself are running 3" straight pipes no cat or nething and have no problems. the n1 is 2.5" i dont see how that can be a problem.

I love these questions. No it will not damage your pistons, I have ran open header's and never had any motor damage. That guy who told you that doesnt know ****!
