Default Our ride out to Rt 55 in West VA

Heard of this road through motorcycleroads.us. We started out in Fairfax, went west on 50 and down to Strasburg.

Our route:

Burger King lunch and two craps:

Filling up in Strasburg before hitting West VA; been a while since I've seen pumps like these:

An old white man came out of this building, and greeted us minorities:

Edwin, paying his respects:

Top portion of West VA Rt 29:

Redbull break:

Our road home (Rt 50):

The ride was fun. Unfortunately they were repaving the best parts of Rt 55. We did hit some good corners, with one being a decreasing radius horseshoe. Rt 50 coming back was fun, and Rt 29 had a good mixture of twisties and long straights.
The very end of my ride sucked ***, while I was putting the bike into the house I dropped the bike and cracked my upper.

I think he said they were 2's. We left ~10am, came home ~6. We took plenty of breaks, and a lunch stop.

You guys notice the bball shoes but not the kickflippin' shoes?

Dood! Sorry to hear. At least it wasn't a big spill you know. Don't worry about small stuff like that. Glad you had fun and made it home safely. I'll have to ride up there one day.

It was an awesome ride. My longest to date. Edwin and Ick gave me some good tips during the ride.

The Shoes - The timbos I have been riding with have been kinda uncomfortable, and the AF2s provide decent ankle support. Some form of riding boots will be coming for me and Penguins planned October trip. Besides, my flip flops were in the shop .

Man, that sucks. How bad is the damage? Can you still ride it? oors a 40 of Red Bull on the floor:

About the ride. The ride was definitely a lot of fun. Relaxed and chill. I really wasn't looking for any super twisties as I had my skate shoes on (long story). Anyways it was fun as always hanging out with Ick and cool to see Patrick riding and gettin the hang of everything. I completely forgot about the Chipotle meet a few years back when I met Pat, cool dude with some dope fly kicks. I hope more people could ride with us nextime.

Your shoes are black so it's not as bad. But the bigger guy has these pristine white kicks which I'm sure now have black marks on the left big toe area, unless he was wearing a sock or something over it. I found this out the hard way w/my Bo Jacksons. Going on a ride like that with sneakers isn't the best idea anyhow but y'all are big boys.

You're not living in Nova unless you get this delivered to your doorstep.

Didn't we do this road on our 8 hour ride Ryan? I recognize that big *** bridge.

That bridge is on 55 somewhere.

We did a similar ride, only we went further south, out 211, to the Lost River Battle Stage™ and then back east on 55.

I'm still looking forward to riding this. I'll be sure to have my boots on so the HT safety patrol doesn't ticket me

You don't cry enough. Get in touch with your feminine side.
