I am recharging my A/C very soon after modifying my b series bracket to mount my d series compressor. I am told that if your orifice tube is bad, that it would be a waste of time. I cant find anymention of it in the helms manual, but I cant find it in any obvious location in teh lines either. Autozone says they carry it for the crx.

Does anyone know where the hell this thing is? TIA!

 

You don't have an orifice tube. Honda uses an expansion valve attached to the evaporator.

The main thing you need to worry about is the receiver/drier. (the can near your left headlight) if the system has been opened for any length of time the rec/drier will absorb too much moisture and be rendered useless, buy a new one and rest easy.
