Not bad i think they look nice what color is your dc5.

 

Its your car, but I think they look like cheap garbage.

They look clean but kinda crappy.
I think the lenses make it look generic.

I would expect the plastic to go cloudy within the first couple years, but I have no direct experience with them. For $170 they pose an option for us in an ill-supplied market (as far as headlights are concerned)... Ill leave this for people with a personal experience with them.

I think they're pretty ugly. I personally like the stock headlight painted black. Although I have yet to actually do it.

I think they are ghey, look like ***, and are fanboi rice.

you'd be way better off getting a TSX retrofitted headlight. Better vision, classy look, and quality. There is a guy on ClubRSX.com that actually sells the TSX retrofit and I do believe makes a retrofit with halos. Which looks 10000000000000x's better than that ebay garbage. If you wanna cheap *** upgrade. Take about 6 hours out of your day and DIY. Costs about 15 bucks and is VERY EASY. Just time consuming. I spent about 5 hours on my Dc5 headlights and I've done black housings before. Unfortunately, I didn't seal it up the greatest on the driver side and its starting to condense on the inside so I have to take the headlight off again and place it next to a de-humidifier and re-silicon around the whole seal of the headlight!

dude i had a similar set on my civic trust me total waste. first one of the "halos" went out because the lcd that lit it up was junk it also had a crappy seal. these are low quality and personally dont look that great. not that this has anything to do with the subject (sorry) but acura.com under future vehicles has the new TL type S looks killer would say check it out

 

my homie has a type s with those and they look pretty clean but just make sure to get an hid kit for those or its not worth it but to by the 06 headlights will be better

15 bucks and a lot of time.

What you will need.

10mm socket wrench, Flat head screw driver, phillips screw driver
Oven
TIME
Wet Sand paper to sand off the chrome as best as you can - 1500-2000 grit
Black spray paint - Gloss or Flat. Whatever you like. I like gloss cuz it looks better
Clear coat - Again, your choice
OVEN
Some MORE TIME
Silicon
OVEN and TIME


there you go, Nice and simple. theres countless threads on DIY Black housings. in my books its FTMFW!

Not to steal this thread but I just had an idea. Does anyone sell the clear outer lenses byy themselves? I did a DIY on my headlights and cleaned up the plastic but I think I'd buy some new ones if I had the opportunity (and the money).
