I joined 16 days ago, but after the wait I still cannot participate in most forums, send IM,s, emails ect, in fact can not do anything but watch,(it's also impossible to contact an admin or mod), any ideas?ty

 

sounds like you didn't read the terms when u signed up, but i'll bare with you. you are what we call here a "n00b". means you can only post 5 posts a day for about 20 days ( i think). this filters out tools who come here and post stupid **** and take up bandwidth. wait about a couple more days and started posting more often. only then will you be able to change you icon/avatar, post in GDD. so just kick back for a couple days..

ty for your reply, I did indeed read the TOS, it said restrictions for 14 days, i am now way over that, and still am tied, by the way how do you contact a mod or admin on here??
(oh you may want to verify what I say, try a new registration, see what it tells you).its not just a question of 5 posts a day, i cannot post in most forums, and sorry I am a Nooby, guess every one here was once, right?

 

i understand you cant post in most forums as well. i think your still in "n00b" land because you lack posts. maybe if you post a bit more often you can get to "normal user" status from restricted. thats what i did a while back. i posted 5 times a day and it wasnt enough. at least 2 weeks later i was able to change my icon and post anywhere i wish. maybe they changed the rules since i was a n00b, but i will talk to a mod for you to see whats going on.

it doesnt say you are on trial status, so you SHOULD be able to post anywhere you want, and edit your avatar, etc.

 

My status just changed, I,m free at last, damn now I have to think of something profound to say.

yea they also post. i can tell who one is if they like signed up in 2000 or have like posts in the hundred thousands. haha u make it sound like their god.
