does anyone here have a better way of compressing a front suspension spring other than using those screw type compressors that ppl get from places like autozone and canadian tire?

I can't seem to compress my spring evenly nor safely to reinstall it onto my new strut.

In the past I have managed to always buy lower springs but in this case I'm reinstalling the stock springs.

recommendations?
