Never did an EF swap. Did a **** load of eg/ek. Now I'm helping my friend out with his swap in 91SI hatch. He got a b16a with cable tranny and electornic speed sensor (I was like wtf aren't they supposed to be with speed cable?). So yeah put the motor in and I plug all the wiring in. When I go to plug in (driver's side plug) injector harness plug into the car, the plug from engine harness is way bigger then car's harness.

My theory is that vss wires go thu that plug so I was thinking just repining the connector with d series connector and using only the wires that match up. But I'm prolly wrong.

So what do I do? Use the d series harness or b series harness with d series injector plug. Please don't flame I tried searching and I never go on EF forum or do anything to them (simply because EG/EK are way more straight foreward).

 

Come on anybody, I'm pretty much stuck over here. Maybe I will just use d series harness.

Swapped the harness, wired everything else up, motor runs. I find EF forum very helpfull.

At least maybe somebody can tell me what car this motor came out off.

came out of a 88 91 crx sir or 90 91 integra xsi ..

 

Don't hate on the EF forum there are a lot of good people in here that know what they are doing and now how to search, not hating on you but in the FAQ section in the top of this forum there is some great write-ups that could have answered all your questions...not all of use sit on the intraweb all day waiting to answer questions for people, sorry you had a bad experience here


Oh also the for the vss you can swap in one from a 88-91 civic/crx or a 90-93 integra and retain the cable system
