progress pics of my car and an autobahn machine
so a few weeks back i was driving around 65ish and my left lower ball joint snapped causing the left wheel to kick sideways and me to loose controll going off the road up an enbankment into a tree stump snapping one of the bolts on the lower control arm and bending everything else on the right side of the car. good thing i work at a body shop
there was no major structural damage. so after replacing knuckles, lower control arm's, upper control arms, wheel bearings, lower ball joints, inner and outter tie rods on both sides, new rims and tires (2 were bent w/ dystroyed tires) and i minor (2mm out) pull on the frame machine she was drivable again, but since i was going to have to repaint the front half of the car anyway i just decided the hell with it and decided to do the body work on the rest and respray it all. so as it sits right now it is all masked off and ready for primer (tuesday night hopefully) wet sand, sealer and paint. so here are pics of the progress so far...

the car

last week (w/ new ep3 si wheels)

and just for fun

a 604hp v12 bi-turbo Mercedes CL65 AMG that we just fixed where i work.
the owner let his kid take the car and he got wasted and got into a police chase and drove the car into the guard rail killing the entire passenger side and popping the tires and apparently drove on them for a while because there was not much left of either wheel or tire on the passenger side. overall the total repair bill on this car was just under 50,000 dollars....... must be nice
for those of you that dont know what this car is all about. i think it speaks for itself here.
