Whoever will be driving the TL have they met the NASA requirements?

There were two, a the 25hour race car and a mule. Did they crush them both. Lee N. mentioned a few months ago that they planned to update one of them for this year's 25-hour. So I assumed it was the same car.

Why would NASA give them special treatment, it's not like Honda gives out any money to the Honda Challenge series (or any other series for that matter)? You pretty much have to be Real Time Racing to get any Honda support for racing. So just because they are Honda R&D won't make any difference in how they are classified. I think a privateer who presented the same paperwork and requests would be handled in the same way that Honda R&D will be handled.
I'm sure that NASA will want to look out the car's performance potential and assign weight limits based on that alone.

I think he meant special treatment in terms of qualifying for the National Event and as mentioned Brian has been running the Prelude all year in MW NASA events.
