Does anyone know where I can get a BLACK EK dash? I have the CTR door panels, gauge cluster & seats, but I can't find a dash anywhere. & no I don't want to paint it like I've read about. My friend did it, it bubbles & ships after a week. PLEASE HELP. I hate this GREY one I have.

i painted my eg hatch dash 9months ago w/ duplicolor vinyl/cloth dye...looks great.

I have one thats been sitting in my backyard for a few years. Free if you want to come take it lol.

 

I hadn't thought of that. I have one right next to my shop. I'll ask them how much they'll do it for. Thanks for the idea.

This would also require a RHD conversion

 

the dash is prolly wrapped in vinyl, just pull it all off and rewrap it with black vinyl. but if you prep it right , you should be able to spray it with sem vinyl dye, its pretty tough. i know for a fact that gm, and bmw dye alot of their dashes. my boy did his mustang dash from gray to black, its been that way for years, and sits in the sun everyday. he has had no problems with his peeling or chipping, i didnt even realize it was dyed until he removed a lower dash panel and i saw an edge under the dash that he didnt spray good.

 

I have a RHD dash, but I don't want to spend the $$$ on the conversion right now. So what I need is a regular Si or black EX dash. I might have found one. I'm going to buy the one that JDM_ej has. Hopefully it looks good.
