Back from the track LOOK INSIDE (ls/vtec)
well i just ran my lsvtec and not really disapointed but not as happy as i thought i would be heres my time slip
14.7 e/t at 95mph
9.6 8th mile at 76mph
and a terrible 2.4261 60ft
i spun all the way through first, and second gear was basically a huge burnout im running a shitty bald all season tire on 14in steelies (185/60/14) which shows on my 60ft also first time at the track so that could have a little to do with my not so good E/T
my setup is
b18b1
gsr trans
.25 os ctr pistons
shot peened rods knife edged crank
p72 head ef-1 m23 cams
gsr intake manifold
skunk 2 springs and retainers (stock valves)
profab tri-y header with 2.5 custom exhaust straight to the muffler
short ram
stage 1 clutch
motor mount inserts(thought id throw it in there)
suspension
also have a full coilover setup
avid traction bar
front and rear strut bar
im pretty sure i can break into a 13.xxx with a good tire and i aslo still need a tune right now im tuning with a junk vafc
so i know the car has much better potential im not sure whether ill run a drag radial or a slick and i know my mph is decent i see people with 98-99mph running high 13's
this is in a 94 dx no ps or ac its a coupe
let me know what you guys think about the E/T and where i can go with this setup

def get it tuned, tires, then most of all practice ur launches. those 60fts are killing u. my GSR hatch runs better than that in the 1/8th so i say ur car has def potential to be much better. im gather parts to start on my ls/vtec, its goin to be similar to ur setup. let me know what times once u get the tune/traction problems resolved

well im sure having traction issues didnt help me getting there any faster.
the first run i did was at 94 and i bumped it up the second run a little to 95 and also had a better 60ft.
