The vehicle was repainted due to oxidizing paint, keying vandalism, and hail damage.
Oil changed every 3 months (low mileage car use, ~9 miles a day) with Castrol GTX (non-synthetic).
The engine has never been turbo, supercharged or used w/ nitrous, and is not used for autocross or racing. VTEC still works properly, the engine is very healthy, and has no leaks. There are no grinds from the transmission.
The are no rips, tears, or scratches within the interior, however there is slight fading on top of the rear seat back.
The car is garaged nightly and washed weekly (weather depending).
This car had excessive damage caused by hail and was reported as "possible frame damage" because of the damage to the roof of the car. I have had the car inspected by Continental Collision here in Austin, and there is no damage to the frame, as seen by the document link below.
The car has also been aligned by Bill at SoulSpeed as seen by the 2nd document link below.
The title is clean, clear and not rebuilt, which will be transferred at time of purchase with a bill of sale.
REASON FOR SALE:
I am getting back into the VW scene with the recent purchase of a 2006 GLI, and possible purchase of a MKIII VR6 GTI.
Please try not to low ball me as I am in no hurry to sell the car, and compare it to the prices I have seen for 100K+ mile GS-Rs.
ASKING PRICE:
$6,000 obo
VIN:

Someone buy her, I think I found my MKIII GTI VR6.
I have enough garage space for all three ('92 GS-R, '98 GTI, '06 GLI), but when someone buys my DB2, I can start putting the touches on the GTI.

She's up for sale still. See the link in my signature. Couple of bites, but they don't seem to be going forward with the deals.
Make me an offer, the worst thing I could do is say "no." Right now, I am willing to offers of $6K or higher.
Thank you for looking. Please bump!

Compared to the price of GS-Rs with over 100K miles...I'm not sure I understand how $6K is too high.
Thanks for the bump!
