Installed the gauges..

My climate control has no use except to turn the fan on/off. The fan switch is connected and in the glove box. I figure since I don't have AC and only need heat I had no use for ugly stock climate control. This is in an '88 CRX where all the climate controls are cable driven, very simple mechanics. The cables are all still accessible to allow some heat control and changing the vent directions, so for now I have the vents directed to the floor and windshield. If it gets too hot, I'll just roll the windows down a bit or adjust the coolant valve on the heater core via the cable inside the cabin. I'll be making a few of these for my fellow EF'ers with a similar set-up so anyone else interested let me know. The final piece will be in 100% carbon fiber or kevlar.
This car is not my daily driver and it's only driven on dry weather and mild conditions so the fogging issue should not be a problem. To CRX Toad, are yours laser cut and what material is your template made of? Are you still selling them? A few of my buddies did not want carbon fiber so I'm glad to see someone else can make these. PM me your price per piece and ordering info. Thanks.
