Yup. You can use 205/45-16 or 215/45-16; either one will work. The 205 is probably the better bet on a lowered car, though, since it's less likely to rub.
If you're looking for summer tires (i.e. if you don't have to worry about snow) in 205/45-16, the Kumho Ecsta SPT is a great bargain, very good tire on dry pavement, awesome in rain (which is probably important where you live
), and a terrific bargain. In 205/45-16, it's $67 at the Tire Rack, which is $57 after you deduct the $40 rebate.
BTW, there's a button on your keyboard that you should get familar with...

i actually had the same question, i have some 16x7 rota c8's on my 94 teg and i have slightly rolled out fenders and i was wondering if i could go with 215/45/16 without them rubbing on the inner fender. i have 205's now and they work fine but i really want some wider tires since ill be boosted soon...

Yes, you can use 215/45-16 and they will work fine.
The 10 mm difference in tread width won't make much difference in grip. However, you can get the Falken Azenis RT-615 in 215/45-16 (it doesn't come in 205/45) and it will give you much more traction on dry pavement than any other street tire. The traction is primarily due to the soft tire compound and the tread pattern, not the extra 10 mm of tread width.

well i actually am planning on getting softer tires as well im looking at the new hankook rs2's that are supposed to be comparable to the falkens and iv actually heard from some people are actually better... i also forgot to mention that my car is dropped to the point where there is no fender gap but not actually tucking....

They're not. The Falken Azenis RT-615 is much stickier than the Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 (on dry pavement, of course). That's not only my opinion; most other people I've spoken with who have tried both have come to the same conclusion. Here, read this.
If you don't want to get the Azenis because you're afraid that a 215/45-16 tire might rub on your lowered car, then I would suggest getting the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 in 205/45-16, rather than the Hankooks. Better in the dry, better in the wet.

205/40-16 is the right size for older Civics, but it's too small for an Integra (4.2 percent smaller outer diameter than stock). Get either 205/45-16 (0.8 percent smaller than stock) or 215/45-16 (0.7 percent larger than stock).

205/40-17 is the correct 17-inch size for your car. But 205/40-16 is too small in diameter, much smaller than your stock tires.
Look at the outer diameter and how it compares to stock for each size, and you can see for yourself:
195/55-15: 23.44 inches (stock size)
205/45-16: 23.26 inches (-0.8 percent)
215/45-16: 23.62 inches (-0.7 percent)
205/40-17: 23.46 inches (+0.1 percent)
205/40-16: 22.46 inches (-4.2 percent) TOO SMALL!!!

That's gonna look ghetto as hell.
Teeny, tiny sidewalls are gay IMO.
Can someone please throw up some pics of the larger tire size in question? (215/45-16)
I am seriously considering buying the Azenis in this size but would like to see some pics of them on an integra. I've already seen a ton of pics of the 205/45-16.
Thanks!
