i just had a swap done on my 94 cx with the cx harness... will a jdm d15b run with out the vtec wired up? what about the o2 sensor?knock sensor? the shop says the car wont run unless i have the "harness for the vtec" which i think is b/s. the said the car starts then shuts down when it hits 1000 rpms.. i havent had a chance to go there and say anything, they basically b/s my mom when she went. (i was at work) if i dont wire up the four wire o2 sensor to the harness will it not run? or will it just throw a CEL? could the timing just be off? any help would be great thanks

are you running the same setup? what ecu?

 

i think that shop is pulling one over on you. go down there and see whats up.

 

had a 95 civic CX with a mini me swap and had NO harness car ran like a champ eventually get the harness but dont worry about it right now if you dont have the money
