cf hood vents. does water get in through them?
I've been curious what happens when you have hood vents and you drive in the rain. do they have some kind of way to stop water from getting in the engine bay?
most likely on all but on the ones ive seen no they dont, but some water in the engine bay is not likely to cause problems, most newer engine setups are sealed and could go without a hood completely-
well i have one and TONS of water comes in when it rains. well not so much driving in the rain, but mostly when i park in the rain. it gets water all over my header my battery, my headlights, everything in front of the valve cover. i know a little water is alright, but alot....not good. i would say if you want to make sure it is sealed, dont get one with vents. the oem style looks better anyway.
