Wheel bearings question
I am planning to replace my wheel bearings soon but i dont want to go to a shop to do the whole thing. all i have to do is remove the rotor and caliper and get a slaphammer and get pull the hub out to get the shop to press out the old one and press in the new one right? after that, how would i get the hub back on? i remember my friend put a hub back on a while back and i was watching him, but i forgot what he did. TIA
hey, would it be possible to use a ball joint press to press out the old bearing and the new one in? i went to a local shop and they want 40 per side if i take the knuckle to them and 85 each side if i give them the car.

IDK but, i have to replace my driverside and the local shop i'm going to is charging me $80. and that's with them removing the knuckle, taking everything off, pressing the bearing in, and re-installing. to me that doesn't sound bad.
