Default Have any of you guys changed out your cabin air filter?

I rarely turn on my a/c but the other day when I turned it on, it smelled like straight ***. It was horrible and I had to do something about it. So I finally pulled the filters and changed them with the help of this write-up:

http://absoluteprelude.com/for...ID=94

Well to my amazement, the filters were FILTY as you can see in the pictures.

The new filters were 19 a piece from Advanced Auto Parts. To get oem ones would cost me more and would require me to drive farther.
I just wanted to show you guys what 108k mile old filters look like.

Looks like a lot of arm & leg hair in there

I wish I had a filter on my car. If I turn on my A/C after not using it for a long time... It shoots dust & debri in my face.

Yea, It's inconceiveable how dirty it gets. I can't imagine how it would be without a filter, having all of that in your car and lungs.
