how much HP and torque before the AT blows??
well i have a 97 base lude, i found a performance shop in maryland that i can get hooked up on some blot on parts (headers, catback, high flow cat converter,etc..) i do have an automatic...now my car has a little over 100k miles on it....no probelms with the tranny thank god. i was just wondering how much HP and torque can n AT handle before it blows, at this point it is a daily driver....any feed back appreciated...

My cousin had a cavalier that was under warranty still. He got 4 new transmissions before they cut him off. LOL He sure got his money's worth out of that warranty. The stealership was not too happy though. Neutral slams=BROKEN TRANS.
BTW Change your tranny fluid every 15K and only use Honda ATF.
