Default went 12.6 @ 108last night on 7psi of boost!

Hey, i went 12.6 last night with just 7psi of boost.. T3/T4, Gsr motor with LS trans in a CRX, Open Diff. StreeTuned on crome, no WHP #'s (im thinking like 230whp)

Slick size was 22x8x13 with 8psi in the tires. 60ft was 1.88. Im very satisfied with my times, this was all in a full interior 88 CRX Si, which is also my DD.

Unfortunatley i bent my radius rod on the traction bar on the drivers side causing it to rub on the crank pulley.. Im not going to say the brand or anything just yet. So i could only manage 3 passes for the night, 12.7 and 12.6.

I was launching at 6800rpm and it was hooking up nicely.. I think the setup has a low 12 in it with some more seat time!

I have a short 1minute video of the run, im going to just have to find somewhere to host it so you can all view it.

Thanks !! You guys answered many of my questions when i was in the process of putting this together

Good job!

thats the second time I've heard of someone bending a "traction bar" in 2 weeks. both are somewhat local.

I have pictures, i will host them with the video today and get them up.

Its a 88 Crx Si, Gsr Motor ARP headstuds, LS tranny, Gator stage 2 axles, t3/t4 63trim, 3" DP and Exhaust, Edelbrock IM, omni street coils, and just the 22x8x13 slicks.

Hopefully i can get parts for the broken traction bar if not.. Im pretty much screwed as far as driving the car untill i get another bar, and my charge piping and rad etc are pretty close clearances with it.. So that might put me into a bit of work.

weight is around 2250lbs without a driver.. and im about 180lbs.

250-270 would be nice, id love to get it on a dyno with a boost controller and see what some tuning and 10psi could make.

Would that traction bar happen to be ETD?

I go though the traps in 4th, i only rev it to 8000rpm. On my 12.6 run i actually missed 4th, so i lost a few MPH, my other runs were 110-111mph, but the 60 foot hurt a bit since im still new on the slicks.

The traction bar is not ETD, The vendor voluntarily (sp??) overnighted me new upgraded parts.. (Ive had mine traction bar for some time) with no questions asked free of charge. The car is now back together.

A 11 sec pass would be incredible even if it took a bit more boost

Very Clean looking car, congrat. on your time. Friday my friend with a stock GSR motor in hatch at 6psi ran a 12.4 @ 110 with a 1.600 60ft at cecil county raceway with a full tank of gas (93oct) with only one pass. He street tune his car also so you should be able to hit a lower time with more passes. If my friend YC Underground, with more passes he should of hit a really low 12 due to his spinning and missing second and redlining 3rd.
