Default h22 civic ek transmission slip at the track last night please help details inside.

ok heres the deal my h22 ek has been running like a charm no issues at all and last night i took to the track for some quarter mile traps and had two races both of wich my tranny poped outa first gear and dont know what the cause could be i ended up losing both races because if this. i had great rt times first one .122 second .098 launched at 4000rpm no tracktion issues strait launch then halfway through first gear it pops out both times so had to put it in second and droped the rpms way down so pretty mucha had to start the race over in second but by that time the other car is halfway down the track so whats up can someone help me with some ideas or if this has happend to you what to do to get this issue fixed thankx guys.

just sounds like the tranny is going out...what can you do but get a new tranny. h22 transmissions suck for racing. they werent built to take the abuse. hope you figure something out.

i am curious what makes an H transmission so much inferior to the B in regards to strength of the gears/syncros?

u sure its not your clutch or your shifter cables?
I had a similar problem last month after i went to the track, The car wouldnt go in gear some runs, would just rev... Solution was a clutch and new shifter cables.

U can say the same about certain b series tranny also, however what u prob meant was that H shifter cables suk, therefore making the h trannies inferior to most bseries tranny's
