Default PCV Valve

On my 96 where is the PCV valve? I know I'm a noob and really don't know what it looks like on this car exactly. Is it the valve coming out of the top of the valve cover in the middle into a hose? If not anyone know where it is?

So in this image is it the thing in the middle of the valve cover on the back? Kind of covered up by the other hose but you can see some of it? Or is that something else?

Right above the V and the T.

Just pull up and undo the clamp to remove the valve.

I got the Advance Auto Parts one made by Purolater for $3. Should I put the OEM one from Honda back on or is this one fine?

I used to always use aftermarket but like you I've gotten to where I use OEM a lot now. Unless of course it's something where I am adding a part to get more power out of the car. Or the plug wires which so far I really am impressed with. I'm using the stock plugs though. I've realized a lot of times the OEM parts just seem to be of better quality. Too bad they cost soo much and my dealer jacks up the price even more.

be sure to check the rubber grommet/seal under the PCV valve. They are cheap and might as well replace it now if it needs it.
