Default how to take off crx head rest?

alright, so i was wondering how to take the head rest off of 88 si seats, i assumed there would be a button, but unless i missed it i didnt see any, i want to take the whole head rest off, reason being that i just got a fearly large mo-hawk and the head rest is just in the way, not like i use it to drive anyway, of course its a safety hazard if i get in an accident cause i could crack me neck, but **** happens.

can be done, but you have to practically take off the seat cover and undo some clips, so not worth it at all....i ship them out regularly and I had to find the perfect box to ship them in. all the other civics and tegs come off fine though.

I don't know about Si seats, but on my hatch, I just simply pulled up. They slide right out and slide back in. But i'm sure you're not that dumb, lol.

My Dx seats were like that, but the Si seats are different..

It has two hidden clips that hold it in right under the square pedestal:
