NO spark from the ZC DOHC WHY??????????????

Default NO spark from the ZC DOHC WHY??????????????

my friend has a zc motor in his car we just put a new head gasket on it and put everything back toghter but when we tryed fireing it up it would not start there is no spark from the dis. cap he has a clear cover there is power going to it but no spark we took it apart and inside there is power going to everything inside the dis. could you guys put 2 cent in this and help me out?

is the rotor spinning? do you have the original cap? those clear ones tend to go bad quickly (cheap product really) if there is power going to it and the rotor is spinning there will be spark of some kind going to the plugs so check there first.

are the spark plug wires in the correct locations in the distributor cap? the DOHC ZC is different from all of the SOHC engines

we tryed th orig one but he same thing and the rotor is spining
