Default emission control vacuum tubes???

so i was replacing a radiator fan inside my car which is a 93 si and found this vacuum line that was going into the intake manifold but wasnt attached to anything. So all i can figure out about it is its a emission control vacuum tube. where is it supposed to connect to and is it bad that it hasn't been attached? thanks

yes its bad for it to not be connected to anything, and the IM has many lines going to/from it so we need a better description, can you tell by this picture, or at least which lines are properly connected still...
