I would swap that out for the correct ecu. Probably has something to do with the iab.

Hmmm, you must be throwing all sorts of codes...IAB, knock, you name it. Get a p28 quickly, or get a b18c quickly.

i have both the gsr ecu and my d16 ecu, it wastes a ton of gas, which is why i only drive it when i run. is it true that my vtec aint kickin in though?

Why?

It depends on what is tripping the CEL. Some CEL codes can send the engine into limp mode, and VTEC will not engage. You don't even have the correct ECU for your engine, so trying to determine how to make it run properly will be a crapshoot.

No i am not an idiot, before you go callin me an idiot i run a gsr ecu for the extra boost it gives my car. I raced a hatch like mine wit my stock ecu and it beat me i changed it to the gsr and i beat it, so it does gimme a significant amount of hp, not much but some. I just wanted to know if vtec would engage or not, not a smartass response from an idiot like you. I know the diff between gsr and d16
