I want to change my interior blue panels for some black/gray ones. (I dont like the blue) I heard that the panels from a 88-89 will not fit my 91 hatch DX is this true? Please let me know if some one has done this or knows someone who has. I dont want to spend the money only to find that they will not fit. By the interior panels I mean the rear hatch panels, back seat side panels, dash, etc... Thanks in advance.

 

Just make sure you get door panels with the belts in the doors or nothing will fit

 

What if I have the JDM door panels. Will the panels still fit?

 

the difference is the seat belts.

any interior panel that affects the seat belt position is incompatible without modification.

jdm panels do not have door mounted seat belts, like our 88's.
