Default CAN'T REVV PAST 3K

ok i'm having problems with my swap. it a B18A1 built and i'm using a pr4 ecu. and when the engine is started the check engine light comes on and my ecu light flashes code 4. I know its the CPS sensor and i did switch the wires as I was told in my other thread. and it still flashese code 4 and my check engine light still comes on when the car is started. i need help i don't know what else i could do. i can drive it but it just won't revv past 3k and it annoying me to death. I still don't know what else i could do. is it possible to reset the ecu? i know you can do it to the 92-95 civics and the del sols. Thank you. i really want my car to run right.

your car is in limp mode so that you dont blow it up. you fix the problem and you will be able to drive normally. talk to mr.speaker and he should be able to set you straight.

fix said problem.. could the cps sensor be bad? or maybe there is a broke wire.. check/ replace sensor, then do a continuity check on the wire to make sure signal is getting to the place it needs to

I had the same prob. CPS is in the distributor. Replace the dist assembly and unplug the batt. That will fix it.

i have had this same problem before... it was a loose pin on the dizzy side of the harness. I suggest you ohm out all of your wires from your ecu to your dizzy.
