I am helping my son rebuild his '90 Civic 1.5L. We realized last night that he had removed the plug wires without noting the firing order . Not sure what goes where. Can you help?

WickedII. Not sure what the second line of your post means. Are you saying that the firing order is 1-3-4-2 but the order of the wires on the distributor is 3-4-1-2 ?

Sorry for my ignorance. I was thinking that the firing order was the order on the distributor??? Could I trouble you to provide additional clarification?

If you look at the distributor, and starting with the upper left wire, moving clockwise, the order is 3-4-1-2. That's what Wicked means.

I just replaced my the wires yesterday and I can't confirm if that's correct...thank you short term memory.

 

I think I have it!

On the distributor:
Upper left is 3
Upper right is 4
Lower left is 1
Lower right is 2

Firing order would then be 1-3-4-2!

if u look at the dis. and reading it clockwise 3-4-2-1 but the firing order is 1-3-4-2
