loosen the tensioner, then turn the crank by hand a few teeth then re-tighten the tensioner

or you can to the coat hanger way

bend a coat hanger and loop it into the hole for the spring on the tensioner, and have a friend pull up on it as hard as he can while you turn the crank a few times, then tell him to hold it steady (because he will bitch that his fingers are hurting) and tighten the tensioner down

there should be no more than and inch of deflection total (or half and inch each way) on the intake and ehxaust side

Oh a B18A1? Well that's totally different. In that case you should do this:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DC2 Mang &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">loosen the tensioner, then turn the crank by hand a few teeth then re-tighten the tensioner
