I have little problem with stock radio and was wondering if you have same problems or just me...

I have stock radio replaced under warranty 2 years ago with new one...

Now whenever I turn the rear defroster on, the radio would pick up static noise....AC does not affect the radio reception quality only the rear defroster....I tried all other buttons functions AM//FM//CD//CD-C mode...wipers...sunroof...cruise..

Noise is there with AM//FM mode....I live in NJ 10 min to NYC....meaning very close to radio station...??

Anyone else have same problems?? any thoughts??

 

Are your windows tinted? My AM picks up static and clicking when I turn the defroster on and off. My FM is fine. But the tint place said that if I get a certain type of tint that reflects or is made up of a certain material that it can disrupt radio signals.

 

I do have tint on the back window...but its am and fm...
