Default Dyno Numbers after changing electric water pump & individual coils.

Setup:

85 bore 89 stroke
Crower custom cams
Toda header
TWM 50mm itb
MoTeC M800
Golden Eagle water pump
K-series coils

Before: Thin lines (with 2.5" short drag pipe)
After: Bold lines (with 2.3" straight thru long pipe all the way to the rear bumper)

Didn't have time to hook up my drag pipe, will re-dyno again with the drag pipe to see if the exhaust pipe is causing the dip at 7800rpm

..but...was happy to see improvement in the mid-range torque and overall hp...

Here is a pic of the drag pipe I couldn't get hold of today:

the water pump:

the coils :

I would appreciate if anyone can give ideas on getting back that previous high end hp instead of the sharp dip...hopefully its the exhaust pipe...

...thinking of running 8 injectors soon, and playing with different styles, lengths & sizes of itb airhorns, plus the ssr side sweep header...will post the dyno comparisons when I have the chance?

you gained alot of newton meters in the mid range there....

and yeah the top end is prolly the exhaust. sounds like you got a pretty sweet ems though

Thanks... do you have any idea what the powerband will be like if I just run open header with a megaphone pipe(got 1 in hand now)?

Oh yea, forgot to mention that I'll be fitting a 'frenched' carbon fibre tall airhorn to see the difference too.

megaphones are supposed to increase TQ throughout the RPM range. those are some pretty sweet airhorns too

what kinda dyno is that, it says FW tq. is it a dynapack hub style? 228NM is almost 170ft/lbs, thats a lot

Newton Meters, not torque.
